Four algorithm eras. This is the fifth. We know which parts matter and which parts are noise, because we were here for the last four times everyone said search was dead.
We're not yes-people. We're going to do what's good for your brand.

The short answer Tack Media connects Salesforce to marketing: ad platforms, the website, analytics and automation, so campaign spend can be traced to opportunity and closed revenue. Work covers integration architecture, field mapping, attribution, API tooling and reporting. We are a marketing integrator, not a Salesforce reseller. Engagements start at $5,000 a month. What we actually do with.

We are usually brought in when Salesforce is running fine as a sales system and is invisible as a marketing system. Nobody can say which campaign produced last quarter’s pipeline.
| Connects to | What moves | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads | GCLID in; opportunity stage and amount back as offline conversions | Bidding optimises toward pipeline instead of raw lead volume |
| LinkedIn Ads | Lead Gen Form submissions in; closed-won signals back out | The most expensive B2B channel finally reports in revenue |
| Meta Ads | Lead ads in; qualified and closed events back server-side | Lead quality, not lead cost, becomes the optimisation target |
| Slack | New lead, stage change, stalled opportunity and SLA breach alerts | Reps act on the same day rather than at the weekly pipeline call |
| n8n | Enrichment, dedupe, cross-system syncs and rate-aware batch jobs | Integration logic lives somewhere visible and testable |
| Looker Studio | Opportunity data blended with ad spend and web analytics | Marketing and finance argue about strategy, not about the numbers |
| WordPress | Form submissions with full campaign context and page path | Every inbound enquiry arrives already attributed |
API allocation, spent by an unbounded sync. Salesforce publishes the limits precisely. Enterprise and Professional editions with API access get 100,000 requests per 24 hours plus 1,000 per Salesforce licence, while Unlimited and Performance get 100,000 plus 5,000 per licence, as of 26 August 2026. Salesforce gives the worked example: an Enterprise org with 15 licences has 115,000 requests. A poorly written record-by-record sync can burn that before lunch, and every other integration in the org then fails. Concurrent long-running requests are separately capped at 25 in production. Salesforce revises these limits, so we design against the published figure and monitor consumption.
Click IDs that die at conversion. The GCLID is captured on the Lead, the Lead converts, and the field does not carry to Opportunity. Attribution silently breaks and nobody notices for a quarter because reports still render. This is the single most common fault we find.
Buying seats before scoping the need. As of 26 August 2026, Salesforce lists Starter Suite at $25 per user per month, Pro Suite at $100, Enterprise at $175 and Unlimited at $350, most billed annually. For a ten-person sales team on Enterprise that is a real annual commitment, and it is worth it only if the process genuinely requires that configurability. Some teams would be better served by Pipedrive, which lists Premium at $59 per seat per month billed annually. Vendor pricing changes on both sides.
Two sources of truth. Marketing runs its own database, sales runs Salesforce, and the two disagree about who a lead is. Every reporting dispute after that is really this dispute.
Tack engagements start at $5,000 a month. What moves the number: how many ad platforms need a return path, whether Marketing Cloud or Pardot is in scope, how much custom API work is required, and whether we also run the media.
Salesforce licensing is separate and billed by Salesforce to you. The published per-user prices are cited above with their as-of date, and Salesforce revises pricing and packaging regularly, particularly around its AI products. We do not resell licences and we take no commission on them, which means our advice about which edition you need is not a sales conversation.
You do. It is your Salesforce contract and your data. We work as users with defined permissions, and everything we build is documented and deployable by your team.
Yes. Field maps, integration specs, sandbox-to-production process and monitoring are handed over as part of the system we build. There is no proprietary Tack layer you would have to keep paying for.
Regularly, and it usually works well. They own the org and the sales process. We own the marketing integration surface. The boundary gets written down in week one so nothing is deployed twice.
We do the marketing side: campaign objects, lead lifecycle, attribution fields, integrations and reporting. For deep sales process redesign or heavy Apex development you want a dedicated Salesforce consultancy, and we will tell you when that is the case.
Yes, once the data is trustworthy. Qualification, summarisation and routing agents are built through our AI agent development work. Tack are integrators, not trainers, and we do not build agents on a broken data model.
Salesforce already knows which deals closed. The value is in getting that fact back to the places where budget decisions are made, and in keeping the click ID alive from first touch to closed-won.
If your pipeline reporting cannot name the campaign behind it, book a call with a Tack expert or phone 310-620-1141. Our broader integration work is set out under automation and AI.
Twenty minutes, no deck. Tell us what you're trying to hit and we'll tell you straight whether we're the right team for it.
