Four algorithm eras. This is the fifth. We know which parts matter and which parts are noise, because we were here for the last four times everyone said search was dead.

Meta rewards volume of good creative and accuracy of signal. Almost every underperforming account we take over is short on one and broken on the other.
| Connects to | What moves | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Product catalogue, purchase and checkout events, customer lists | Dynamic product ads stay in sync with real inventory and price |
| Klaviyo | Segments out as custom audiences, ad-sourced subscribers in | Paid acquisition and email stop targeting the same person twice |
| HubSpot | Lead stage and deal value returned as server-side conversion events | Meta optimises toward qualified pipeline instead of raw form fills |
| GoHighLevel | Lead form submissions, appointment booked and show status | Local and service businesses can bid on booked appointments |
| GA4 | Landing page behaviour, session quality, cross-channel paths | A neutral referee when Meta and your analytics disagree |
| Looker Studio | Spend, blended CAC, revenue and creative-level performance | One weekly view instead of exports from four platforms |
| n8n | Creative rotation triggers, spend alerts, lead routing | The account gets watched between the weekly calls |
The pixel alone, in 2026. Browser restrictions and consent tooling take a bite out of client-side events. Teams see reported conversions fall, assume the ads stopped working, and cut spend on a measurement problem. Running the Conversions API with deduplication is not optional any more.
API rate limits on home-built tooling. Teams that write their own reporting scripts hit a wall without knowing why. Meta publishes the formula: development access allows 300 calls per hour plus 40 times the number of active ads, while standard access allows 100,000 plus 40 times active ads, and throttling can also trigger on CPU time and wall time, visible in the X-Business-Use-Case header. Most in-house scripts never read that header.
Version drift. An integration built two years ago and never touched will eventually stop returning what it used to. Meta guarantees each Graph API version will operate for at least two years, after which calls default to the next oldest usable version. Silent fallback is worse than a hard error, because the numbers keep arriving and quietly change meaning.
Creative starvation. Three assets running for six months, then confusion about rising CPMs. Meta’s delivery system needs new material to test. A creative pipeline is part of the media plan, not a favour from the design team.
Tack engagements start at $5,000 a month. What moves the number: how much creative we produce versus receive, number of markets and languages, whether a product catalogue is in scope, and whether we are also building the CRM and email connections.
Meta itself charges no platform fee. It is an auction, billed to your payment method, and media spend sits outside the retainer. The catalogue side has its own cost: if products come from Shopify, feed volume is bounded by the Admin API, where Shopify allows 100 points per second on Standard plans and 1,000 points per second on Shopify Plus as of 26 August 2026. Vendor pricing and platform limits change, so we re-check both at every quarterly review.
You do. Your Business Manager owns the assets, we take partner access. If we part ways, we remove ourselves and your pixel history, audiences and catalogue stay where they are. We will not run your ads from a Tack-owned Business Manager.
Yes. The event map, deduplication logic, naming conventions and creative testing framework are documented as part of the marketing system we hand over, not held back to keep you dependent on us.
Yes, if it is sound. We keep pixel and account history wherever possible because it feeds learning. Where we usually insist on change is asset ownership and server-side tracking.
Some accounts need a new operator. Many just need the measurement fixed and the creative volume raised. We will say which one you are before you sign anything.
Yes. Tack are AI integrators, not trainers, and the connective work lives in our automation and AI practice. Lead routing, alerting and CRM write-back are built in, not bolted on later.
Meta performance in 2026 is decided by two things: the accuracy of the signal you send back and the volume of creative you can test against it. Fix both and the auction treats you differently.
