Tack Media designs, builds and operates Make scenarios that connect a company's apps into one working system.

Make, formerly Integromat, is the strongest visual builder of the three big automation platforms. You can see the data move. That clarity is worth a lot when a scenario has eleven modules and two routers, and it is the reason we still reach for it.

The short answer Tack Media designs, builds and operates Make scenarios that connect a company's apps into one working system. We handle scenario architecture, data mapping, error routes and operation cost control, and we say plainly when Make is the wrong tool. Engagements start at $5,000 a month. What we actually do with Make Make, formerly Integromat, is.

| Connects to | What moves | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Orders, customers, refunds and inventory out to every downstream system | One order event updates CRM, email and finance without manual re-entry |
| Klaviyo | Custom events and profile properties in; unsubscribes and engagement back | Segments reflect what happened in the business, not just in email |
| HubSpot | Contacts, deals and notes in both directions with dedupe on the way in | Sales works from one record instead of three near-duplicates |
| Pipedrive | Lead creation, stage changes and activity logging | Reps stop doing data entry that a scenario can do |
| GoHighLevel | Contacts, pipeline stages and appointment data across sub-accounts | Multi-location operators get one reporting view |
| WordPress | Form submissions and post creation through the REST API | The website feeds the CRM directly with attribution attached |
| Slack | Alerts, approvals and error notifications | Somebody finds out the same day a scenario breaks |
Operations multiply downstream and nobody notices until the bill. Make defines an operation as a single module run to process data or check for new data, with trigger modules counting once regardless of how many bundles they return. Every bundle that trigger returns then multiplies operations across the rest of the scenario. Make’s own example shows a scenario dropping from 11 operations to 3 by adding an aggregator. That is a design decision, not a plan decision.
The wrong plan for the polling interval. As of 26 August 2026, Make publishes Free at $0 with 1,000 operations, Core at $12, Pro at $21 and Teams at $38, each with 10,000 operations, and a minimum scheduling interval of 15 minutes on Free against 1 minute on every paid tier. If the requirement is near-real-time lead routing, the free tier cannot meet it regardless of volume. Make revises pricing, so check the page.
Choosing Make when the volume belongs on n8n. Per-operation billing is generous at small scale and punishing at large scale with long scenarios. n8n bills per workflow execution regardless of step count, which inverts the maths above a certain volume. We have moved clients both directions and the crossover is a calculation, not an opinion.
Downstream rate limits, not Make itself. A scenario that loops 3,000 records will hit the destination’s limits long before Make complains. Klaviyo enforces a one-second burst window and a one-minute steady window simultaneously, with tiers from 1 request per second up to 350, returning 429 with a Retry-After header. Scenarios need sleep modules, batching and retry logic, or they fail halfway through and leave the data inconsistent.
Tack Media engagements start at $5,000 a month. What moves the number: how many scenarios, how many connected systems, whether AI steps are involved, and whether we are rebuilding an inherited account or starting clean.
Your Make subscription is separate and stays in your name. Published tiers are as of 26 August 2026 and Make offers a discount of 15% or more for annual billing. For comparison, Zapier publishes a Free tier at 100 tasks a month, Professional from $19.99 and Team from $69, and n8n lists Starter at €20 for 2,500 executions and Pro at €50 for 10,000. Three billing models, three different answers depending on your shape. This work sits inside marketing systems and automation and AI services.
When scenarios are long and volume is high, because per-operation billing compounds. When the data cannot leave your infrastructure. When you need version control and code review on the automation itself. In those cases we recommend n8n and explain the trade-off.
You do. It is your subscription, your connections and your scenarios. We work as users inside your organisation. If we stop working together we are removed and everything keeps running.
Yes. Make is the most readable of the three platforms, which makes handover genuinely feasible. We document each scenario, run a walkthrough with your team, and stay available for the awkward ones.
Usually. We audit first and keep what works. Rebuilding a functioning scenario to put our name on it is billable and pointless, so we do not do it.
Then we can take a defined slice, most often the integration between Make and the ad platforms or the CRM, and leave the rest alone. Split ownership works fine when the boundary is written down.
Make is a genuinely good visual automation platform, and the design of a scenario matters more than the plan you buy, because the design sets the operation count. Get the architecture right and it stays cheap.
