Convention & Trade Show Activations Los Angeles
The short answer

Convention activation is a built, staffed experience inside a trade show booth — a golf simulator, putting setup, racing rig, camera crew or on-site social team. Tack Media handles delivery, build, staffing, content and teardown at the LA Convention Center, Anaheim Convention Center and Long Beach, plus nationwide shows.

What it involves

Five services on the floor.

Each one stands alone. Together they turn a rented square of carpet into the busiest corner of the hall.

01

Convention Golf Simulators

Simulator bays sized to your booth footprint.

02

Convention Golf Setups

Putting greens, chipping nets, launch monitors, closest-to-pin.

03

Convention Racing Simulators

Full-motion rigs with branded liveries and a live leaderboard.

04

Convention Camera Team

Booth crew shooting stills, reels and interviews all show.

05

LA Convention Social Team

On-site social managers posting live from the floor, all three days.

In plain language

What this actually means.

An event activation is a build that produces two things a marketing team can actually use: qualified conversations on the floor, and footage you can still post six months later. The measure is captured leads per day and usable minutes per hour of shooting — booked, staffed, shot and delivered by one crew.

What it connects to

Tools and apps we integrate with.

If it has an API we have probably already wired it. If it does not, we will tell you before you buy it.

The kinds of integrations we build

Concrete, not conceptual.

01

Badge scan → CRM

Every scan and kiosk entry lands in your CRM tagged by event, station and rep before the show closes.

Kiosk + HubSpot
02

Floor → social

Vertical cutdowns posted the same day, while the audience is still in the building.

Resolve + scheduler
03

Stage → library

Every session recorded, captioned and cut into clips you can run as ads for the next twelve months.

Multi-cam + Frame.io
04

Registration → follow-up

Attendees and no-shows split into two sequences automatically the morning after.

Eventbrite + Klaviyo
Questions people actually ask

Straight answers.
Including the price ones.

What does an event activation cost?

A staffed interactive build for a three-day show typically runs $4,500 to $12,000 depending on how many stations you want, plus crew if you want content out of it. We quote itemised, never as one number.

How early do we need to book?

Six to eight weeks for Pasadena, Anaheim and the LA Convention Center in peak season. Drayage and electrical deadlines are what actually bind, not our calendar.

Do you handle permits and union labour?

We handle the plan and the paperwork and tell you exactly which line items the venue will force. We do not pretend union rules are optional.

Can you work outdoors?

Yes — fairgrounds, ranches, wineries and parking-lot builds. Power, weather cover and load-in access are the three things we scope first.

Where we measure it

Visibility isn't one place any more.

Every answer engine builds its index differently. We track them separately, because they behave separately.

AI made us faster.
It didn't make us new.
Why us, not the next one

We've been doing search
since 2009.

Four algorithm eras. This is the fifth. We know which parts matter and which parts are noise, because we were here for the last four times everyone said search was dead.

We're not yes-people. We're going to do what's good for your brand.

How it starts

No deck. No mystery number.

01

Fit call

Twenty minutes. What you are trying to hit, by when, what is in the way.

02

Access

Read-only. Analytics, Search Console, the CMS. We look before we talk.

03

Findings

Where you appear today across every answer engine. Yours either way.

04

Scope

Written, itemised, assumptions listed so you can argue with them.

05

Start

Within a week of signature. You own every account.

We lock in.
We scope.
We got you.

Twenty minutes, no deck. Tell us what you're trying to hit and we'll tell you straight whether we're the right team for it.
